This is the amusing story of two friends, a French Maw (Model, Actress, Whatever) called Céline Balitran, and an American one, Jennifer Siebel. French weekly Voici tells this week the amusing story of how Balitran, a one-time Dior model, met George Clooney in Paris while doing tables at the Barfly, then a hot bar on the Champs Elysées. She took off with him to Hollywood, where nobody knew her, and her only friend there was Siebel, a small-part actress.

Siebel was around the house a lot. And so when Clooney finally asked Balitran to leave, after a 3-years romance, she naturally moved to Siebel's house for a while. Not for long: two weeks ago, People Magazine revealed Clooney has a new love interest:

The star is dating 28-year-old Jennifer Siebel, an actress and producer he met a month ago through a mutual friend. He recently flew her to Las Vegas to join him while he wrapped his latest film, "Intolerable Cruelty."

According to Voici, the story was leaked by Clooney's publicist trying to control damage. The "mutual friend" is of course Balitran, but the meeting was 3 years ago.

The two girls continue to jog together everyday by the way - c' est la vie qui veut ça. That's what I call a French attitude.
